After years of playing in piano bars and learning how to take requests and have a party, Katie decided to start DJing. She spent years learning how to read crowds; now she could give them their requests with one click of a button. Katie knows how to turn the room from a nice dinner to a dance party.
And she won't stop reading the crowd. Is 90's hip hop just killing it? She'll throw in a few more of those tracks. Is your grandma and grandpa in the corner waiting for the right swing dance? Katie has performed her entire life. Her first start in music was as a classical pianist. She played in Carnegie Hall with the Emipire State Youth Orchestra at age 16. She later fell in love with songwriting and pursued a career of playing in piano bars, sharing cover songs and her own original songs.
After years of hundreds of gigs per year, she realized she mastered the art of reading a crowd and started DJing. Her ability to read crowds and musician's perspective makes her an incredible DJ. She understands how to play to a room full of teenagers, or senior citizens and everyone in between.
Her passion in life is music and she's done nothing but it her whole life. Her original song and first self-produced track "Good Girl Syndrome" went viral in 2022, and is available on spotify and apple music.
