If you are trying to decide on a wedding caterer, just hire Katy and her team!! My husband and I cannot say enough good things about having Katy's team catering for our wedding. First of all, the food was amazing (and you can't say that about a lot of weddings). We did buffet style but everything was fresh and delicious, we got a lot of compliments on the food both during and in the weeks and months following our wedding. Second of all the service, I truly feel like Katy and her entire team went above and beyond. From setting up the tables to having a glass of champagne ready for my husband and I after the ceremony to dealing with the 800 kinds of wine we had bought for the bar, they truly made our wedding day SO special and easy. Katy's experience in planning was clear as she ensured we didn't miss a single detail in the weeks leading up to the wedding. Not only that, but she and each one of her amazing team members was so incredibly sweet. We still talk about our wedding food (10/10 recommend the butternut squash ravioli and scalloped potatoes!) and hope to get future anniversaries catered to keep remembering it by!

Working with Lakeview Catering and Katy was a fabulous decision! The food was delicious, the presentation was beautiful and the entire crew was a treat to be around. Everyone was professional, kind and we were grateful to have them there to share in our wedding day.

Planning the spread with Katy was so much fun. Lakeview provided so many great options that it made it easy to curate an inspiring menu - even with vegans and gluten-free folks in attendance. They even prepared an incredible "tasting to-go" for us, as we were unable to do our tasting as originally planned due to the pandemic. It was so generous and had our hearts brimming with gratitude!

Everyone really enjoyed every component of the cocktail hour and meal and Katy and her crew did such a great job taking care of everything from start to finish! I would absolutely recommend working with Lakeview Catering!

Where do I begin… I guess with the food? It was AMAZING. We were super excited to develop a menu with Katy, who enthusiastically helped us create a low-key, cocktail-style buffet. Our guests complimented the food all night, from the local cheese spread (OMG I went back after dinner to eat more cheese) to the passed meatballs to the kebabs cooked on our grill with dipping sauces… she just nailed it.
But probably the icing on the proverbial cake was how wonderful the whole staff was. First, Katy went above and beyond to ensure we had everything in place and felt confident and calm. On the day of our wedding, the wind was really strong and we didn’t think we’d be able to get married where we planned. We walked it with Katy and she talked through another option with us until we had a game plan. The best part: she suggested we put some guests in a rowboat tethered to the dock. It ended up being a highlight— literally a one-of-a-kind moment and pretty much the most fun thing ever. That’s the kind of ingenuity, thoughtfulness, and understanding of our vibe that Katy provides. Truly priceless.
Her staff was similarly fab. They were consummate professionals, but also matched our casual, playful vibe. They were flexible, friendly, and honestly felt like they could have easily fit in as guests. On top of that, they were IMPECCABLE at their jobs. The bartender made our cocktail recipe so well we ran out of bourbon. People couldn’t stop drinking it. Truly amazing.
Katy’s got a finely tuned machine over there, and I honestly do not have any idea how we would have managed without her. We had a self-hosted “welcome cookout” the night before and the difference between us wrangling literally just burgers and Katy managing a full event with drinks and passed hors d'oeuvres and a bonfire which involved setting out desserts outside, etc. etc… was STARK.
Do not think twice. Hire Katy. You will NOT be disappointed.
