Laura started her event planning career after completing the Event Development Certification Program at Duke University in 2015. She had the honor of mentoring under incredibly talented wedding planners in Charlottesville, VA for 3 years before starting her own event planning company.
Like so many couples these days, Laura and her husband met on a dating app in 2016. Central VA will always hold an incredibly special place in her heart since she and her now husband basically dated their way through every brewery, winery and boutique restaurant in the area. Their first date was at Starr Hill Brewery in Crozet, VA.
Through their mutual love of dogs, iced coffee and British baking shows; they decided to spend their lives together. He proposed in Rodanthe, NC in 2017 right on the beach, in the sand, praying that he wouldn’t drop the bling before it landed on Laura's finger - but is was perfect!
They were married in the fall of 2018 at The Market at Grelen in Somerset, VA surrounded by so many loved ones for a truly magical day. It was through planning their wedding that Laura realized she was ready to take the leap from assistant to business owner and the rest is history!
