Lilac Patisserie is a dedicated gluten-free bakery located in Santa Barbara, California. We believe that designing a wedding cake should be a unique and memorable experience for each couple. Lilac Pâtisserie offers a selection of luxurious and decadent cakes — 12 signature flavors — that are as beautiful as they are delicious. We use only the finest ingredients in our cakes, including intoxicating Madagascar vanilla, rich Belgian chocolate, and the freshest produce.

Chef Gillian Muralles is focused on luxurious gluten-free baking. Along with co-owner — and husband — Chef Alam Muralles, every recipe the duo creates meets their high standards, and passes the three criteria for the Lilac Pâtisserie work-of-art test: taste, texture and appearance. Everything made at Lilac Pâtisserie is gluten free, but if we didn’t mention it, you might never know.

Half of the husband and wife duo that opened Lilac Pâtisserie in 2015, Gillian's background is in decorating elaborate custom design wedding and celebration cakes. Gillian graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in 2009 with a diploma in Baking and Patisserie and went on to work at some of Los Angeles' best bakeries, where she met her husband and business partner at Alam. With a deep knowledge of cake decorating, keen eye for design, and cheery disposition, Gillian loves working with clients to create the perfect cake to celebrate their big day!
Madison has spent years working in the cake business, working with a number of different mediums. A joy to work with, her keen eye and elevated sense of design inform her cake decorating and she works hard to make her clients' vision a reality in all of the cakes she creates.
