People still talk about our ceremony...

MaryBeth is an incredible wedding officiator. My spouse and I met during the pandemic, and our families live all over the US, which didn't give our families a lot of time to get to know each other to the level our friends did. For many of our family members and extended friend guests, our wedding was the first time they met our spouses. Which is why it was soooo wonderful that those who were invited to the wedding remarked, "Wow, because of how thoughtful that ceremony was, I feel like I've known your spouse forever and get why you all are such a good fit!" It was so special to hear that everyone felt like they got to know us better and our love story because of MaryBeth's ceremony.

This makes sense, given how MaryBeth structures everything. Months out from your wedding, she has a call with you to learn what your goals, intentions, and values are as a couple. She'll review what traditions are important or unimportant to you and how you want the whole tone of the ceremony to be (e.g., light-hearted, sentimental, quirky, etc.). She'll also walk you through every bit of logistics (like mailing/applying for your marriage license). She made the whole thing such a beautiful EASY experience. I knew the one thing I didn't have to worry about was my ceremony.

EVERYONE at our wedding remarked (and still remarks) something to the effect of "That was the most special/beautiful wedding ceremony I've ever witnessed." Truly, it's probably the thing I get complimented on the most (sorry, dress! lol)

If you're looking for an officiant who has the gift of telling your unique story as a couple, and expressing your values and ambitions as a couple together in the most personable way possible, hire MaryBeth. She is hands-down the best.

(It's also worth mentioning that I was raised Catholic, and my spouse is Jewish, but neither of us are too traditional, and MaryBeth did a wonderful job weaving in and explaining to the crowd certain traditions like the breaking of the glass so everyone felt included/respected.)

Touching, personalized ceremony

MaryBeth was the most wonderful officiant in all aspects. Throughout the wedding planning process we appreciated her clear and responsive communication, and flexibility to work with our busy schedules. She gave us each separate prompts to fill out which she then weaved together to write a beautiful ceremony built on our unique love story. She also did a fantastic job incorporating our mixed religious backgrounds into the ceremony. Because of her work, the ceremony was one of my favorite parts of the wedding, and several guests told us that it was the best wedding ceremony they'd ever seen. I'd highly recommend hiring MaryBeth!

The Bathgate's

My Husband and I got to met Marybeth originally at my Brothers wedding that she was officiating. She had us tearing up at one point then laughing at another. Marybeth's speaking voice and way she tells your story is so powerful and moving. Once I got engaged there was no question that she was THE ONE! She was actually the first 'vendor' crossed off the list because we were that sure. Marybeth had us answer questions to get to know us better, just from that information she officiated the most beautiful ceremony. You would have thought she had known my husband and I our whole lives. I even went a little over board and asked her if I would involve our parents to give her a perspective on how my husband and I are and she incorporated it so well into the ceremony. The best line Marybeth said on our wedding day that validated that she knows us is when she said "Baseline Goofball Magic"! THATS US! Marybeth doesn't have a script that she plugs names and dates into, with her you are receiving your love story so beautifully written out that will touch you and your guests.
