Situated in San Diego’s Little Italy neighborhood, this memorable location offers an elegant setting for “I dos.” The company that manages the property, LUCE Events, runs two other warehouse-style venues in the area. Its team provides couples with easy-to-transform spaces that allow nearly-weds the ability to mark their milestone moment in a way that fits them.
Facilities and Capacity
LUCE Kettner features a modern and chic interior that provides a blank canvas for couples to get creative with their wedding vision. It is a historic building that has been thoughtfully refurbished. Natural light floods the room through the many large windows while the exposed beams above showcase the building’s character. The flooring is matte concrete, infusing the venue with an industrial yet sophisticated vibe. These architectural details throughout make it easy for couples to transform the space in a way that fits their chosen theme. The open floor plan also allows soon-to-be-weds to decide on the table arrangements that suit their wedding best. Celebrations with up to 75 people can be held here. Dressing rooms are also available.
Services Offered
In keeping with LUCE Event’s aim to provide customizable venue options for couples, the team at LUCE Kettner has an open-vendor policy. This includes the ability to bring in outside beverages. Full-day rental packages are offered as are cleanup services for the couple’s convenience. In addition to ceremonies and receptions, other wedding-related events like showers and rehearsal dinners can also be hosted here.

Beautiful and professional!
Apart from the great communication from Zach, the space itself is so gorgeous. It's a great blank canvas that has a really clean, urban feel in the heart of Little Italy (such a great location for guests!). We really appreciated the amenities of the building (nicely furnished groom suite, very cute bridal suite with a private bathroom, clean bathrooms for the guests, and air conditioning!) but also that we were able to bring in all of the other elements we wanted to personalize our event (tables, chairs, decor, etc.). We really appreciated the option of having our cocktail hour outdoors in the front parking lot while also keeping the giant doors open during the ceremony and reception to allow for a nice air flow to keep everyone safe and comfortable during the pandemic.
We loved having our wedding here and would definitely recommend it to any future couple!
