I found Mai by recommendation from a family member who used her services for her wedding. I loved how she captured the very essence, the mood of that wedding, looked through other weddings from her portfolio, and made my choice. She has a very special eye and she is an artist. Looking at her pictures you can say how she loves what she does. I am a picky, maybe even too picky, what comes to a photographer for my special day, but I got very lucky. I was looking for a photographer with a personal connection to me and I found one.
Working with her was a breeze, she was open to my ideas and she could offer hers. At the same time, she had a plan and kept me on schedule for everything (very important for wedding day, because you loose sense of time being in the moment). She visited and explored all the locations and had a clear plan of what she was going to do on the wedding day. She was unnoticeable during the ceremony and reception, worked around, didn't break the flow, if you know what I mean, yet managed to capture almost everything.
I was pleasantly surprised to receive an exquisite handmade beautiful jewelry box with a photo flashcard from the event. Everything from the very first meeting to the last moment was perfect.
In a nutshell, Mai is a very talented and very professional photographer with fresh eye, great sense of composition and open mind. And not too expensive yet. I definitely recommend her
