History

Manayunk Brewery is a venue steeped in local history. This building was constructed in 1822 by Ann Dawson. In 1912, the Krook family purchased the site, converting it to a woolen mill. The business continued until 1992, when the Krooks sold the building to Harry Renner IV. Harry had a vision for the building, and it entered a new chapter as a retail space, a brewery, and an event space. A new family tradition began when his daughter took over in 2004, ready to host stylish weddings for couples in the Keystone State.
