I recently joined Marriott St. Louis Grand as Sr. Catering Sales Exec bringing extensive experience in hospitality, event planning and catering management. From small private dinners for a former US President to charity and corporate events for several thousand, weddings are my specialty, blending families, cultures and dreams into unique celebrations. With a degree in Elementary Ed and Spanish from Millikin, I went from teaching to special events based on hospitality traditions from my family. I can't wait to share the ambiance, delicious food and hospitality of this historic, iconic hotel!
I bring 36 years of Marriott International experience to the Marriott St Louis Grand. I started my career as an Event Manager at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott and I am currently a Senior Catering Sales Executive here at the Grand. I love everything about the Catering world and its customers!
I am originally from England, but St. Louis is home. I would love to work with you and welcome you to the Hotel for your special day!
My Mom started my cooking education by assisting her to cook our family Thanksgiving dinner when I was 8 years old. That started my passion for cooking and I haven't stopped since!
I have over 15 years of professional culinary experience working in upscale restaurants throughout the US, most recently as the Executive Chef of The Mill Conference Center in Starkville, MS. I love to bring my own Southern cuisine flair and foods of the Gulf Coast to my menus and am doing that for the Marriot St. Louis Grand. I also support local farmers by opting for sustainable foods - another value instilled in me by being brought up in a small community.
My goal is to make your wedding a step above the rest and exceed your expectations. When you work with our Team, you work with all of us for a wedding day that's totally yours!
