Melissa is the best photographer I have ever encountered and that, frankly, anyone can ask for. We originally hired her to capture the workshop during which my partner and I made our wedding rings. We were so taken aback by how amazing and beautiful her photos were, all while capturing exactly the right moments, that we hired her for our wedding as well. Besides the high quality of the photos, Melissa is an absolute joy to work with. Her heartfelt, friendly demeanor makes taking pictures a true pleasure. Additionally, the poses, backgrounds, and details she suggests and pays attention to create photos that bring joy and fond memories for years to come.

Melissa was everything we could have asked for in a wedding photographer. We loved her as soon as we met her over coffee and muffins. She was so accommodating and went above and beyond! Due to COVID, once we decided on our intimate wedding, we had to act fast. Melissa worked with us on a shorter notice. Our first meeting before the wedding, she was so through and we got to know each other, she asked us about what we want and are hoping for. She met with us at our venue before hand as well so we could chat about what to expect and where we would take some of our photos. The wedding day cam and I swear for most of it she was a sly on the wall. Looking back I can’t even remember when or how she took half of the pictures! She was able to capture many precious and intimate moments, some expected, and others not. You can see her compassion and vision through her work for sure. Having her photograph our wedding, she felt more like our invited guest rather than a photographer. She made us feel so special and every time I look through our photos I cry at a different one. She is also very culturally aware which we greatly appreciate as an interracial couple. Melissa is all around amazing and so special. We feel so lucky that she was willing and excited to capture our day. I could write loads more because she’s that damn good. It’s not hard to find a great photographer. But Melissa is professional, highly skilled, and such a genuinely kind and empathetic person. I guarantee you will definitely want to work with her more than once 💛
