At the Museums of Western Colorado’s Cross Orchards Historic Site, you have the opportunity to step back in time. Stroll around the beautiful grounds and experience historic buildings, railroad cars, vintage equipment, and agricultural heritage. The large 1890s built barn/packing shed and bunkhouse are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Wedding ceremonies typically take place on our picnic lawn, which is shaped like a natural amptitheatre and houses a modern gazebo complete with overhead lighting and electrical outlets.

The floor of the historic packing shed/barn is 2,400 square feet alone and has additional space in the loading porch area-- making it perfect for a wedding reception.

If you'd like to set up a dance floor or shade tents, there are many open areas that are perfect for this, including a gravel area directly in front of the barn that's 3,000 square feet.

Cross Orchards wedding rentals also include access to the Bridal Suite, Orchard View Room, a kitchen with appliances, and modern restrooms that are located close to the barn.
