We got married in September 2023 in Chania. Mariangela helped us plan our wedding in the short space of 9 months! We were really happy with the entire experience. My husband proposed in November of 2022 and we decided that we wanted to have a destination wedding in his parents home city of Chania, Crete in mid-2023.

We pottered around and tried to make enquires from Sydney, Australia for a date in August 2023, even though we have a substantial amount of family in Chania we honestly struggled.

We had a number of interactions with several different companies/persons. Most of them leaving us with frustration and doubts if our dream wedding could be realised by our time line.

By January we felt like we had exhausted all options and with a few false starts we thought maybe our vision wouldn’t come to fruition. Then we found Mariangela @My Planner. From our first emails and video calls we felt comfortable.

Mariangela was a perfect match for us. She is super professional, radiating positivity, incredible easy to communicate with and a really genuine person.

She never said no to our sometimes outlandish requests but helped us make decisions that ensured a wonderful flow to our wedding. She gave us clear accurate information and options throughout the process.

6 weeks prior to our wedding we had an issue with one of vendors. It was with one of two vendors that were not directly recommended by Mariangela. So close to our event we contacted Mariangela from Australia and within 5 minutes we were on a call with Mariangela, she not only reassured us but by the next morning she had reconfirmed that she has reached out to her vendor network for an alternative. In less than 3 days since our initial issue we had decided our replacement vendor with guidance of Mariangela.

I have take the below from another review on goggle but only because it so rings true! “Another of her skills that really elevated our experiences, was her approach to selecting possible vendors and suppliers. The team she created for us did not just deliver quality beyond our dreams, but all of them gave us this genuine good-hearted vibe. During our wedding we really felt like they were all a part of our party and not that we were surrounded by strangers”.

Mariangela and her team were able to source every element we had dreamed of, from an audio guest book, material signage and grooms favourite vintage sports car!

We chose to have a mix of Cretan traditional with our modern touch for our wedding. This sometimes proved tricky with our family providing strong opinions on certain elements. However, Mariangela handled everything, including family requests, with grace and prompt resolve.

Mariangela and Stefania also helped us navigate the church proceedings with our somewhat eccentric priest also with clarity and grace. There was a lot of paperwork required prior and post ceremony but we felt reassured throughout.

I would not hesitate to recommend her services to anyone. She creates such amazing beautiful events with such support and trust. There are no words that can truly describe how much we appreciate Mariangela and her team.
