My now wife Elizabeth and I knew that we wanted our ceremony to be one of the most important parts of our wedding. We wanted it to feel sacred, connected and unique. As a same sex couple we wanted a minister who would stand wholeheartedly for our wedding and who we knew deeply cared. David was all of these things and more. He's so kind and warm right off the bat and makes you feel so comfortable during the entire process. David was so excited for our wedding and he was incredibly willing to work with us to make our ceremony what we wanted it to be. He met with us before the wedding, walked us through some ideas of a ceremony, listened to the elements we hoped for and created a ceremony that was incredibly special and that felt like us. He himself has been married for a long time, so he understands marriage and truly stands for love. My wife and I could not recommend him highly enough! Thank you David for making our ceremony beyond beautiful. You truly helped us step fully into this next phase of our love.

David was instrumental to the success and happiness of our 10-person and very intimate COVID-19 wedding in August. We knew quickly that he enjoyed working with couples who demonstrated a willingness to commit to marriage, and so he gave us full access to personalize the ceremony in whichever way made us most happy, and we certainly appreciated that! He was also very flexible during our special day; he wore a mask, respected our social distancing rules, and worked at pronunciations for our last names, which can be quite hard to get right on the first, second, or even third try! His added words during the ceremony made it even more special and showed that he cared about the message we were trying to cultivate. David’s experience as a minister influenced his ability to incorporate Christian elements into our ceremony to call back to our Catholic roots while still keeping it modern. David was very welcoming and accommodating. He made the wedding feel special and put is heart into it. He wasn't running across a check list, it was personal and professional. With COVID happening he was a calming presence and always reassured us. We would recommend him to anyone looking for a little church but also modern feel.
