This was our first (and hopefully only) wedding, so the one thing we knew we were willing to splurge on was a good photographer. We looked all of the usual sites and talked to some potential candidates (based on budget, location and style), but it was thanks to a friend-of-a-friend's recommendation that we found Olivia. After checking her work (very natural and not too fake), we had a fruitful conversation where she listened to everything we wanted (in terms of mood/atmosphere/subject/etc.). Her price was a bit higher than some other finalists, but she was willing to listen to exactly what we wanted and we came to a mutually beneficial agreement. In the end, we also hired Mel, her husband, to do videography and come wedding day, both were consummate professionals. I made a snafu with the scheduling, but they were flexible and showed up exactly when I needed them. They were communicative. They both guided us when we needed it and always asked us if we wanted to do x and checked on our well-being throughout. We have since gotten our first batch of preview photos and a social media film reel and both are FANTASTIC. I anticipate the rest to be of similarly high quality. Zero regrets.

Olivia and Mel are an absolute dream to work with and the photos from both our engagement session and our wedding were beyond our expectations. They went out of their way to make every detail perfect, and were always patient and gracious with our questions, requests, emails etc. They are also just a genuinely kind and generous couple who really do seem to love their work.
