Just OK for the price

Let me tell you why you should save your time and money and not go with Outback Entertainment from Houston, MN. Communication was great at first. Holly, who must own part of it or something, was super nice and helpful at the start. Things went down hill the minute we got our DJ. ( AKA the wedding day :D)
I think his name was Dave or Dan or something?
First of all, he messed up my bridal party's names in the grand march. Then, once he announced my dad and i for the daddy daughter dance, and we were standing on the dance floor, he said, oh shoot, the file is broken, i cant play that song. Uh what? Don't you think this would be the ONE song you would have? or check the files if that is how you are going to do it?
Second, he messed up the mother son dance, only after he announced it by saying "ooof im not sure how this is going to go, but well try" lol what? dude. get it together.
Then, he proceeded to play, in this actual order, the chicken dance, hokey pokey, cuban shuffle, electric slide and one other group song that was not on our list. ANYONE knows you space group dance songs out to try and get people back out on the dance floor or mix things up. Not all in a row! and NONE of these were on our list. When my husband asked him to play our list he said a lot of excuses and played a few more terrible tunes. Finally, as our friends and fmaily were obviously not on the dance floor, we told him not to play a single song he wanted, and ONLY what was on our song list. And even then, my friends still had to go up to him and switch songs as he was picking songs off youtube with NO danceable beat.
You would think he ruined the night. Not so, it was actually the wedding of my dreams and after the fact is really funny. People ended up dancing the night away when we brought out glowsticks and when we were the DJs. We had so much fun, just absolutely no thanks to Outback Entertainment. Just trying to save you a little trouble future brides :)
