We had our wedding reception at the Empress Room and could not have been more pleased. Joe and his staff were very easy to work with. The venue was lovely and easy to access. The food was superb. We had a small wedding and luncheon in the afternoon. Then we had a large evening reception catered by Paravati. Even though he was serving 5 times more people, Joe's food beat the food served at the luncheon by a popular local inn hands down. We decided to work with Paravati because they let us supply our own liquor and we were told his food was good. We got so much more value. Our expectations were not met, they were exceeded I would highly recommend Paravati Catering and the Empress Room for your event.

The wedding reception of our son, and now daughter-in-law, was held at The Empress Room October 15, 2016. I'm not a fan of cocktail hours but our guests really enjoyed the finger foods and drinks and the opportunity to gather and chat before sitting down at the tables. I don't expect much from "wedding food" but I did expect good food at OUR wedding and we were NOT disappointed. For 2+ weeks after the event people were still commenting on the food and how good it was. And we've got some seasoned wedding goers in our bunch. The drinks were perfect. The bar staff was friendly. Joe circulated the rooms so he was always available if there was a need or a question. Honestly, I've never seen that before. He was approachable and my guest liked him. I appreciated Joe's calm demeanor and attention to details. He was helpful and never pushy. I believe he honestly wants you to have your best possible experience at the Empress Room. The D.J. was very good. The dance floor was busy all night. We had a blast. Thank you Joe, and all the staff. Job well done.
