I cannot say enough positive things about Penney of PD Artistry. I was so impressed by Penney’s talent, responsiveness, and clear communication, all of which made the process much easier and more enjoyable! She responded within the same day to questions I had. And she provided helpful comments and insightful feedback regarding what hairstyles she thought would and would not work on me & the bridesmaids based on existing hair lengths. In fact, another vendor recommended I purchase hair extensions, but Penney astutely pointed out that I had highlights and that it would be challenging to match. I also inquired about where I could find hair pieces/embellishments and she responded right away with retail suggestions.
The expectations were quite clear regarding what to anticipate the day of the wedding and the trial. She provided a little make-up touch-up kit for the day of the wedding, which she communicated in advance, so it was one less thing I needed to worry about! She provided clear instructions for what to do and not to do with our hair and faces prior to all the events. After the trial, I communicated things that I didn’t like, and all my comments were actually heard! My H&MU was adjusted accordingly the day of thei. After returning to work 3 weeks after my wedding, my male coworker commented on how great my hair looked!
Penney is very organized in how she manages her business and is clearly proficient with technology. I was able to sign my contract electronically, and she accepted online payments. That alone saved me time compared with other H&MU vendors. I did not have to print, sign & scan a contract, deal with checks or get in line at the Post Office. The process was so convenient and easy with PD Artistry. It may seem obvious, but not ALL vendors out there have the ability to communicate effectively, or are as organized or responsive. Take it from me, I had two H&MU trials & the experience with each was like night and day.
