Pennywell Events offers an assortment of wedding planning services and amenities. I'd love to set up a consultation call or meeting with you to learn all about your desired style and planning needs to help you host the event of a lifetime. For a truly unforgettable experience, options include the following:
- Full Planning
There is a lot more time and effort dedicated specifically to your wedding as far as scouting vendors, coordinating venue tours or tastings, as well as coordinating the days leading up to the wedding and the wedding day itself.
- Partial Planning
This is best for my couples that have some of the planning done but need help for the last 6-9 months or so because life has gotten a little chaotic and they just need to tag me in to get to the finish line.
- Event Management
This is best for my couples that have most of their day-of vendors already booked but need a little assistance to pull it all together to make sure that your wedding day runs smoothly. Prices for Day-of/Month-of-Coordination start at $2000.
Each of the planning levels of service include coordinating with every one of your vendors while putting together your customized Wedding Day-of Timeline so that everyone works together as a cohesive team.
Location
Pennywell Events proudly offers wedding planning services to couples located throughout Louisiana, from New Orleans to Shreveport. Destination weddings in the New Orleans area are our speciality but traveling anywhere across the globe is always an option for any couple.

Throughout the planning process she was always there to bounce ideas off of, run through the set-up, and talk me off the ledge when the stress would creep in.
She understood my little ideas and was able to string them together into a full cohesive vision. I will forever appreciate how kind and friendly she was from the very first day. She really helped ease the stress of the process.
Alicia was super hands-on and attentive to what we wanted, especially the months leading up to the wedding. She was available to meet up for coffee or dinner, to help put together bouquets (a million thanks for that!) and to answer any question I had.
Day of she was an all-star. Incredibly calm and organized. She made sure we never had to worry about a thing.
I enjoyed the whole process with Alicia and recommend her to anyone planning a wedding. She is truly wonderful.
A real lifesaver!
We did a destination wedding from SWFL to NOLA and had a disaster of a time trying to plan it. Our first venue venue cancelled on us, we had to fire our first coordinator 6 months before our wedding, then 3 months before our wedding our second venue cancelled on us and we had to find a new location during peak wedding season.
Alicia came in and immediately found us venue locations and suggested vendors. She was on the ball and very detail oriented and made time for us whenever we needed to speak with her.
She even came and met us in the city on short notice when we were looking for a new venue and interviewed places with us.
She did so much for us and was so outgoing and we are so thankful that we found her. I can't imagine how our wedding would have went without her there.
We had a very complex timeline with LOTS of moving parts and she executed it wonderfully.
If you have any doubts, forget them!
She runs a tight ship and does an amazing job. I highly suggest her!

Hello!
I'm Alicia, the owner/planner/"it" girl of Pennywell Events. I absolutely love to plan weddings, no really, it's what I have dreams about most nights. I also enjoy gardening (tomatoes are my staple and my nemisis, depending on the day). I have two puppers, a corgi and a chiuahaha, and I enjoy taking long road trips on the motorcycle with boyfriend. I worked in the NYC fashion industry for about 5yrs, and while it wasn't what I was hoping for, it did give this New Orleans native the opportunity to move back to Louisiana. It also gave me the chance to expand my knowledge and eventually find out that I really wanted to plan weddings! The universe works in weird, and sometimes long, drawn-out ways, but it got me to be right here, right now, with you reading about me.
