My experience with Carla and Perfect Peony Events was excellent. I was planning a NYE wedding in Charleston remotely, so there were a lot of challenges in figuring out how to get everything set up perfectly. Carla is incredibly professional, assertive and action-oriented, which is everything you need in a wedding planner. I used the partial planning service. I had already set up most of my vendors, but it was helpful to have her input through the year as small things came up. Once we got to about 6 weeks out we were chatting pretty regularly and she was always available for consult. I think she was managing several weddings during this time, but I always felt like a priority when I reached out with questions and she always helped with whatever I needed. All my vendors appreciated her clear communiction style. On the day of she set up our venue perfectly, and handled all the minute details. When we got back to our room that night, I was so pleased to see the collection of things we had left around the venue and completely forgotten about like my ceremony shoes, our cake, all of our gifts, etc! She doesn't forget a single detail.

Carla helped make an incredibly daunting wedding process feel incredibly seamless, exciting and fun. From our first introductory call, I immediately felt at ease when speaking to Carla. Her knowledge of the industry, ideas, and creativity are second to none. When sharing details about my plans for our wedding, Carla reacted in a way that made me feel more like she was a close friend rather than a stranger. She regularly checked in to see how I was doing, and her communication was effortless, consistent and constant. Any time I had any question, Carla stepped in to help me address it. As the wedding approached, Carla coordinated communication with each vendor, and the timelines she created were extraordinarily detailed and immediately relieved any stress I had. In the last few weeks from the final walkthrough to the wedding, Carla showed up with a smile, questions that addressed even the smallest details, and a confidence that helped me feel extremely comfortable and excited. Her kindness, attention to detail, and encouragement were a highlight of our wedding, and we were so incredibly blessed to work with Carla! Her assistant Macie was also an absolute joy, and was there to help with anything and everything during the wedding. I cannot imagine our day without Perfect Peony!

I could not say enough great things about Carla and Perfect Peony’s! Carla and I clicked from day 1 and I knew she was going to make sure our wedding day was everything we wanted it to be. She is very calm, cool, and collected which was a savior for me during the stress of wedding planning!! She is extremely attentive and punctual. She also listens to exactly what you want and then executes!! I would use her 1000 times over and recommend her to everyone!
