Pie Ranch is a 27.5 acre farm on the coast between Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz, just across from Año Nuevo State Park. We are primarily an educational farm centered around cultivating a healthier food system from seed to table through food education, farmer training, and regional partnerships. We also open our farm to couples getting married and offer a variety of options for a beautiful wedding here on the land.

The Full Lower Slice rental includes access to our events meadow, outdoor kitchen, animal barn, flower field and dance barn. This is the best option for larger weddings and offers guests plenty of space to wander and enjoy the farm. We also offer the option to just rent out the meadow and outdoor kitchen, or just the dance barn for the evening. In August of 2020, Pie Ranch lost our historic farmhouse in the CZU August Lightning Complex fire here on the coast. We also lost some fruit trees and are in the midst of more tree removal to help make our farm more fire-safe for the future. This means that the land looks a little different than past wedding photos show. We are happy to show you around during a venue tour to see how fire has shaped our landscape.
