It's hard to put in words how much we have enjoyed having Jared as our photographer. He has taken photographs for every major event in my life. I started using him after seeing the work he did at my cousin's wedding. He seemed like such a chill, fun, outgoing photographer which is exactly what I was looking for.

He will travel anywhere. He came with us to Disneyland for engagement portraits, to my university for graduation portraits and literally all over Arizona for additional sets of engagement and wedding portraits.

I've never felt so comfortable in front of the camera. He is so professional yet makes you feel fun and relaxed. He has the ability to make it look real and not posed. He captures different angles and lighting to give the photo a little extra something.

His touch ups are incredible. He makes me look like a model in my pictures yet it still looks like me. I've never seen a picture look fake or awkward because of his touch ups.

He does a lot of impromptu photos where you aren't posed. That's when the real magic happens. He is able to capture laughter, tears and sweet and precious moments and make them look like something out of a magazine. He doesn't do a lot of posed work. A lot of the time, he just says "go hang out over there by that thing" and then we would just have moments to ourselves all the while, he is taking photos. Those were my favorite photos.

He is very flexible with dates as long as you give him enough notice. He moved a lot of things around for me. He was very quick to respond to any emails, texts or phone calls with any concerns or questions I had.

Some people have mentioned he is a little expensive but I don't think he charges enough. I would have paid much more for his services. We can't recommend him enough. He is now my photographer for all my big life experiences. He has become more like family than a professional to us. We absolutely love him!

I really did my homework on photographers and it paid off. Many photographers out there will tell you they will throw in a wedding book, and airbrush your face until you don't recogniize yourself, but I believe I found the best photographer! Jared Platt is an extremely talented and experienced photographer and a total professional. Not only does he capture the real person, i.e. my husbands cute mannerisms or my dad with his book before he walked me down the aisle. He is an artist and knows a lot about lighting, angels, urban photography, and also made sure to include the typical portrait and family picture in the mix. He was also extremely efficient with the time he had and was the only photographer that did not pressure us to conform our wedding to his schedule by telling us to see each other before the ceremony. He loves what he does, so it was easy for him to make the picture portion of our wedding feel special. Eventhough it was on the expensive side for us, it was well worth it!! I would do it again!
