Mindy started as our wedding planner but became our friend!!! Private Weddings and Events MADE my entire wedding. She executed every idea that I suggested in ways that I couldn't even imagine. Everything went off without a hitch, and I worked with her for over a year and a half to make my dreams become a reality. She was worth EVERY. SINGLE. PENNY. For any of you wondering whether or not a wedding planner is worth it, IT IS. Especially, MINDY! She went above and beyond in more ways that one, and we will forever be grateful to her for making our wedding the BEST day of our lives!

We utilized Mindy's month of wedding coordination services but she stepped in so much earlier to help us make every detail perfect and make our vision a reality. She was incredibly reliable and very communicative - always available over text or call and at any time of day.

We chose Mindy for several reasons, but one area we were particularly excited about was her experience to help coordinate and communicate with our guests regarding lodging arrangements and payment. We had a very unique setup that required a lot of communication, answering guest questions, etc and she handled it like a pro. This was tremendously helpful so that we could focus on other wedding details and saved us a ton of time and effort.

Mindy was also a great resource for us with design and decor ideas and I felt confident that she could execute on anything I asked her to do. The photo backdrop and place card display that she built for us turned out perfectly and having her take on all of our day-of stationery was a life saver.

She worked very well with out other vendors and made sure everyone was on the same page. Most importantly, she made me, as the bride feel very comfortable that I could trust her to take care of every little detail and handle any issues that came up during the week and day of the wedding. She made sure that everyone had what they needed during the event and took special care to attend to my every need including helping me with my change of shoes, finding any item I needed, and guiding us every step of the way.

I was so sad to say goodbye to Mindy after our wedding day because it was so nice to get to know her throughout our planning process.

We would have been a ball of stress and anxiety without Mindy. We had originally reached out to her based on a friend’s recommendation and while we initially didn’t end up hiring a wedding planner, she took time with us to discuss our plans, vision and offered advice on things to consider. Fast forward 16 months, 3 weeks before our wedding. Mindy had heard from our florist that we were having issues with our venue and offered to help be our day of coordinator (on her birthday no less). Her attention to detail, upbeat attitude, knowledge of weddings and the industry were a breath of fresh air. She knocked it out of the park helping to setup our venue and we couldn’t have asked for more.
