Facilities and Capacity
Prospect Park Zoo has three event spaces available which can host between 90 and 1,500 people, depending on the space. The Rotunda is a gorgeous indoor, covered space that features a 6,000-gallon fish tank and several other aquariums and terrariums; it seats 90 dinner guests and will fit 300 without seating. Their Discover Trail and Barn space features scenic views and charming farm animals. It also has an artistically wrought-iron octopus archway that would make a gorgeous location for a wedding ceremony. If you’re having a huge wedding or event, then the Sea Lion Court is the event space you want. It accommodates up to 1,500 of your guests who will have a blast watching the sea lions splash and play in the water.

History
The Wild Life Conservation Society, a New York organization that has been dedicated to animal wildlife conservation since 1895, founded the Prospect Park Zoo in 1993. The Wildlife Conservation Society was developed by some of America’s most notable citizens such as Andrew H. Green, Henry Fairfield Osborn, Madison Grant, and Theodore Roosevelt.
