Raquel made taking photos fun and easy from the second my husband and I met her at our engagement shoot. We had never taken professional photos together before and felt very nervous and awkward before the session. As soon as we met her, I felt so comfortable and knew she would help my husband feel at ease as well. When looking for a wedding photographer, I wanted someone who focused on natural beauty without heavy editing. Raquel knows how to capture photos naturally and her edited photos still look completely natural, light, and airy. Not only are her photos beautiful, but she is just amazing to be around. Her energy is so positive and sweet. All our wedding party and family loved her and had great things to say about her and her photos.
Raquel was also great with communication, which is a huge must-have in a vendor for a bride to be! Of all my vendors, she was the fastest and best about answering any questions and responding to texts and emails. She was great about learning what photo shots we wanted and made sure to get all the requested shots on wedding day. This was great because I would have forgotten had she not made sure to know what we wanted! I could tell she truly cared about getting to know us as a couple and wanted to be sure to help make our day perfect.
We loved Raquel so much that we booked her again about 6 months after our wedding for our pregnancy announcement photos. I can't say enough good things about her and her work and will continue to use her for photos anytime we want them in the future!

Raquel was a dream to work with. She photographed several events for my Bengali wedding and I was so pleased with her patience, composure, and attention to detail. She made every effort to make sure that what I envisioned for my pictures came true by meeting with me in advance to discuss details. Raquel has a way with the camera to make any moment look magical and ethereal. Some of my favorite pictures were outdoors where she was able to manipulate the light to create absolute magic. We also had several portrait sessions with her for our engagement and in the woods before our wedding ceremony. Beyond her amazing skills as a photographer, Raquel is so sweet and caring and always made sure we were comfortable. She has that rare ability to turn real life into fairy tale moments in picture. She takes the kind of pictures that you can’t wait to frame and cherish forever.
