Red Lion Templin's Hotel on the River is located directly on the Spokane River is nestled among the majestic mountains surrounding the quaint city of Post Falls, Idaho. Our hotel is a short 10 minute drive from Coeur d' Alene, Idaho.

Our 163 guest rooms and suites feature king or queen beds and all the comforts of home including Red Lion's signature pillowtop beds, Eco Fresh Environmentally Responsible Products (ERP), complimentary wi-fi, coffee makers, irons and hairdryers. Resort amenities include a fitness center and indoor pool, tennis and volleyball courts, a private beach and unlimited mountain and river views. For full service dining with unsurpassed river views guests can enjoy sumptuous menu choices. Our guests can also choose the new signature Roaring Start Breakfast served daily at Mallards Restaurant. Mallards Lounge features flat screen viewing for your favorite sports or entertainment. Call Sales & Catering for corporate meetings, team building retreats, family reunions and other celebrations, each executed seamlessly using over 11,000 square feet of river view space, accommodating up to 750 guests.

Templin's Marina thrives as a scenic and exciting community with an identity tied to boats. 176 covered boat slips lay just feet from Templin's River Grill. Enjoy live music and a huckleberry barbeque buffet every Thursday evening 5:00 - 9:00 P.M. June through Labor Day. Cruise the Spokane River on a pontoon boat available for rent by the hour, half day or full day at our full-service marina.

Conveniently located 35 minutes from Spokane International airport, the resort offers easy access to all area attractions including summer (May through September) at Silverwood Theme Park. The University of Idaho Research Park is just two miles away with Coeur d'Alene and the University of Idaho 12 miles east on I-90. Guests also enjoy easy access to the region's year-round recreation that includes golfing, boating, hiking and skiing as well as biking, jogging and strolling along North Idaho's Centennial Trail.

I booked this venue for my reception 9 months before my wedding. I happened to stop by a few months later to show my mother the location and asked to speak with the lady who was in charge of catering. They informed me she no longer worked for them. They brought out the new person who was in charge and he asked for information. He could find nothing on my wedding (file with info about set up, food, price quote,etc.) even though I had already paid for the room fee in full already. The only thing he had was my name penciled in on the calendar (at least the date and time was booked). The priceing ended up being different then I was originally quoted, they were very hard to get a hold of and did not respond in timely manner. During the reception that actual staff in charge of the night were absoluty awesome. The head in charge for the night was willing to do anything possible for us. After the wedding I recieved the reciept in the mail. I was over charged for a few things and they were quoting my down payments lower than what I had reciepts for. When i called multiple times to resolve the issue they never returned my phone calls. It ended up being an over charge of a little less than 200.00, but I was never able to resolve the issue and get my money refunded due to a phone call never being returened. My husband decided to just drop it due to it seeming like a never ending battle that would cost more to fight than it would in the money they owed me. I was impressed with the service and quality of food the night of my reception, but not by the staff who was in charge of the lagistics.
