Butler, a seasoned wedding photojournalist, is an award-winning member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association. In addition to the WPJA, his work has been featured in Real Maine Weddings Magazine and the Bangor Daily News's "Bangor Metro" Magazine.
Experience
Corey's photojournalism experience started with coursework in formal documentary photography and editing, which lead to event photography contracts and pieces for the newspaper. This transitioned into telling the stories of couples and their weddings in 2014, and teaching the subject himself at the University level in 2024.
Capturing natural, unposed, unscripted moments from life as it honestly happened has been the primary guiding principle of his work. As a couple, your individual story and characters are the priorities, all authentically told and documented.
