Based in Benton, LA, Sainte Terre Estate is a beautiful 60-acre property with two, uniquely designed wedding venues.
We opened Sainte Terre in 2014 with a dream and an idea…to create a place made just for weddings. We wanted this to be a place where families could gather and couples could begin a new life free from the stress that comes with planning an event of this magnitude. We hoped to embrace the romance and reverence of what was to take place on this property - creating an experience that could be enjoyed and relished by our couples and their guests. After 9 years and hundreds of weddings, we feel honored to have had the opportunity to be a part of such a special day for so many couples.
Over the years we have added amazing talent to our team of wedding professionals, and we've expanded our grounds to include the one-of-a-kind open-air chapel nestled in the woods surrounding Sainte Terre. We're also thrilled to announce the most recent Sainte Terre expansion...The Stables at Sainte Terre! The Stables is designed to have a charming & modern vibe, with subtle nods to the horse ranch it once was. We creatively redesgned all of the existing structues and built a new reception space with ample space for dining, dancing and absolutely stunning details!
While we cater to current tastes and the latest styles, we believe that there are some things that never go out of fashion. Friends sharing warm conversation around a good meal, families celebrating the union of hearts—these are things that are timeless and that bring a pure joy that endures long after the flowers and decorations have faded. We believe that creating and orchestrating life’s special moments is an art—an art that we at Sainte Terre have worked for generations to perfect.

Growing up in NWLA under the fine tutelage of proper Southern ladies, it is not hard to see how Holly developed a love for all things food. After graduating from TCU with a degree in nutrition and the prestigious French Culinary Institute in New York City, Holly has spent years working in culinary media and production. She has had the pleasure to work on-set for the Bravo TV network, to develop cookbooks and recipes for The Katie Brown Workshop, Country Living Magazine, Master Chef Alain Ducasse, Emmy-winning Executive Producer Lauren Deen, Kroger Grocery Stores, and even Duck Dynasty's Miss Kay. Her love of food and family translates into every dish she prepares. She will ensure your wedding menu will be truly memorable.
For any event you are planning, you want Derek on your team. Derek has worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. He has opened restaurants and planned A-List events nationwide for such groups as Planet Hollywood and the Les Halles Restaurant Group, and has owned two of his own establishments at world-famous Breckenridge and Keystone ski resorts in Colorado. From service to staff, his experience is key in helping to create a flawless event from start to finish.
From her time working at renowned art and antique galleries in New Orleans to styling clients, merchandising and display design at Anthropologie, Hillary has developed a signature style and creative eye that is an invaluable asset to brides-to-be at Sainte Terre. Her work has been featured in The Knot, Style Me Pretty, Junebug Weddings and more. She has also been named one of the top area Coordinators and Designers by Locals Love Us. Hillary works to stay up to date on all the latest trends, while staying true to Southern tradition. She will help to make your event seamless and stress-free. She makes the impossible possible and is truly a bride's best friend!
