Facilities and Capacity
Salem Chapel and Event Venue provides seating space in their chapel and reception venue for up to 125 guests. It has been renovated and expanded to offer space for both the ceremony and reception for your convenience. The chapel includes modern technology and amenities but kept the historic stain glass lancet windows for an authentic church setting. The high ceilings and beautiful new pews provide elegance and reverence for your ceremony. The chapel also provides a small cocktail reception space and a get-ready room for half of the wedding party. An additional reception space has been added to provide more room for your post-ceremony meal and entertainment. It even has ample space for a dance floor. Below the chapel, the basement offers an additional get-ready room and catering prep kitchen. Both the reception and ceremony space can be customized with your decor items for a unique ambiance.
Salem Chapel and Event Venue provides comprehensive wedding planning services through their partner company, Game Day Weddings. Owners Teresa and Cynthia met as football coach wives at Hampden-Sydney College. They became fast friends and have offered comprehensive wedding planning packages for couples ever since. They work with Caryn to provide comprehensive wedding planning packages that ease the stress of your engagement.
