After a two year hiatus, we are happy to bring back Sarah B.! Sarah B. is a small, family-owned business, which recently re-opened at 2501 Monroe Street. Started in 1980 as a traditional (primarily wedding) stationery store, the current owner (Jan, and later with her daughter, Renee) took over the store in 2003 and have turned Sarah B. into the refreshing paper and gift boutique that it is today! While wedding and custom stationery remain a primary focus of Sarah B., we have greatly expanded our repertoire in the last ten years. In addition to custom wedding invitations and stationery, you will also find unique gift wrap and ribbon, fabulous cards (from sweet to sinful), sensational fragrances (candles, perfumes, lotions), table-top accessories and seasonal treats and decorations for the home, just for starters. And of course, an exceptional selection of off-the-shelf and custom stationery and invitations, coupled with a desire to share our extensive knowledge in a warm and inviting atmosphere!

We, the Sarah B. Girls (Jan, Renee, and now Carla) seek out eco-friendly and non-traditional elements (recycled and upcycled items, as well as alternative sources, such as cotton or bamboo papers and fabric “gift wrap”) and have even re-purposed vintage furniture in interesting ways for display in their store.

We also seek out local and/or American-made, small-batch paper and gift items whenever possible, responding to our, and our customers’ desire to support small American businesses because we find that the products created by these individuals are often of higher quality, creativity and beauty than similar items mass-produced overseas.
