Scarbrough Haven is a barn wedding venue located in Emory, Texas, boasting acres of lush, spacious land to host a variety of special events. This lakefront wedding venue is situated an hour and a half east of Dallas and on a property with over 800 acres of meadow, wood, pasture, orchard, and garden space. This stunning, family-owned private property is the perfect place to get away and enjoy a wedding or other event with the people you are closest to. Whether you choose to celebrate out in the woods, surrounded by the gardens, or inside the large barn, Scarbrough Haven will provide you with a space you can customize and make your own.

Facilities and Capacity

Scarbrough Haven offers multiple sites on the property to host your gathering and capture stunning photos while doing it. Choose to host a smaller, more intimate event in a variety of indoor and uncovered outdoor settings, including the Greenhouse, Outdoor Chapel, Conference Rooms, or outside on the venue grounds. For larger events, the hand-hewn Pennsylvania barn frame built in 1853 houses the newly-opened, spacious event area. updated and remodeled in a modern style. The new construction around the antique barn frame will feature a large outdoor balcony with sunset views, bleached pecan flooring, and shou sugi ban siding (a Japanese method of charring wood to preserve it). Additionally, there will be a facade around the antique barn frame featuring a large bridal suite, complete with an elegant bathroom with a shower and freestanding tub. The suite will feature a cantilevered hanging greenhouse and garden for brides to feel like they are immersed in nature.
