About
**The safety and wellbeing of our guests, team members and small mountain town are our top priority. We have been working hard to ensure a safe yet welcoming environment for our guests as we navigate reopening with restrictions still in place. Sleeping Lady is currently open for overnight guests, as well as dinner and breakfast by reservation in the Kingfisher Restaurant. O'Grady's Pantry is currently offering to-go breakfast and lunch, which can be enjoyed on our sunny patio. The Play Barn and Library are open at reduced capacities. The pools and sauna will remain closed until further notice. In our current modified phase 1, gatherings are allowed outdoors only, with 5 or fewer people outside of your household per week. We look forward to seeing you soon!**

History
Sleeping Lady and the land it occupies enjoy a rich and storied past. From the area’s Native American roots, to the 1930s when it was home to Camp Icicle and the Civilian Conservation Corps, to its role today as a leading Northwest destination, Sleeping Lady embodies the natural beauty and history of Leavenworth and the Wenatchee Valley. Effective in 2019, Sleeping Lady’s beloved owner, Harriet Bullitt transferred ownership of the Sleeping Lady business to Icicle Fund. This means that if you choose to hold your wedding at the resort, you’ll be supporting the Icicle Fund. This, in turn, ensures that Icicle Fund can help even more local nonprofits in providing wildfire preparedness, arts for kids and adults, hiking trails, open spaces and many other community benefits that enhance the quality of life where you love to visit.
