This small family owned jeweler is best in class. All the family members recognized us every time we walked in the door and we are customers for life! Great, unique selections and very informative and helpful.

Stay away from here

What used to be a reputable jeweler is now the sleaziest of all 'used car' style jewelers in portland. My nephew came in to have a pin replaced in my husbands watch that he is letting our nephew wear. They proceeded to keep the watch to make the repair and he comes back to pick it up and was charged $350?!?!?!????!!! They gave him some BS explanation that they had to replace all the pins and the watch needs a tune up like a car. Our nephew was completely taken advantage of, not knowing he is being sold a line of crap. The pins do not appear to have been completely replaced, the watch was not cleaned, so what exactly are you doing for $350 other than taking money from a 20 year old that walked in with an expensive watch so you just assumed you could take money from him because he doesn't know any different.

My husband called after hearing what the cost was for having the pin replaced, we would have expected $20..... a few years back we had a pin replaced at Fred Meyer jewelers for $10, years ago when I worked retail we didn't charge for such a thing. The man with the last name Bevill that my husband spoke to was rude, denied they would do such a thing, said he would look into it even though he is not making commission or charging for his time (what?! Who says that?) and then called back to say he was the one that talked to our nephew after pulling the receipt.

If my nephew goes back in with the receipt he says he will refund $200, well that's great, minus the fact our nephew is now traveling out of the country for a few weeks and the person we talked to was going on vacation the next day. We will work to get this sorted out, even though $150 is still at least $130 too much to replace a pin.

Stay away, if you need the name of an honest and reputable jeweler, ask around there are some amazing, honest and kind shops in town that do not try to take advantage of people when they see an opportunity.
