I had the pleasure of working with Bethany O'Neill of Something Pretty Events for 18 months while planning the wedding of my son and future daughter in law which took place on September 5, 2021 at Camp Lenox in Otis, MA. Like so many families, the wedding was scheduled and planned for August 2020 and then cancelled a few months prior to the date and rescheduled for 2021. Bethany kept us calm during the uncertainty and stayed in constant contact with us the ENTIRE 18 months. The venue, a children's summer camp, requires a great deal of planning, logistics and coordination. Bethany kept us focused on our planning and then she brought my son and his fiancé’s summer camp weekend wedding to life by working tirelessly during the 3-day weekend event. As expected, the wedding turned out to be an amazing success, and we received countless compliments from over 225 family and friends who told us that it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to! Bethany was not only a wedding planner to us but also like a member of the family. We knew that she too wanted the wedding to be as perfect, magical, and successful as the family had envisioned, and Bethany used the tools from her vast and varied experiences to navigate the process and to actually ‘Make it Happen!’ If you are looking for an excellent wedding planner, I highly recommend that you reach out to Bethany of Something Pretty Events.

I'm incredibly late in writing this review, but I cannot recommend Something Pretty Events enough.

Bethany with Something Pretty Events not only delivered a dream wedding but did so with the grace and dedication of a superhero mom! She went far above and beyond the call of duty. She was incredibly responsive, organized, and detail-oriented when called in at the last moment to come on-site and manage our wedding day herself. She even dealt with unexpected hiccups, like our transportation to the venue never showing up!
Planning a wedding can be a financial nightmare, but Bethany understood our need to keep the budget tight and offered many recommendations. She knew terrific local vendors and helped us find creative ways to stay within our budget. Her suggestions saved us a significant amount of money without compromising on quality.
Bethany's genuine warmth, positive energy, and roll-up-your-sleeves attitude made her wonderful to work with. Especially when planning a semi-destination wedding and when you're a type A very detailed bride.

Bethany and her team at Something Pretty were absolutely outstanding. Our wedding weekend at two different venues for ceremony + reception went off honestly without a single hitch thanks to their incredible hard work, attention to detail, and positive attitudes.
