For our daughter’s wedding in New Jersey, we had a significant logistical challenge since she and her fiancé live in San Francisco and the groom’s family is from the Chicago area. We were the point people for all the planning and as the wedding drew closer we realized we needed help with “day of” coordination so that we could be enjoy the wedding. We interviewed several wedding planners and chose Jan Stephens and Something Social. She was terrific to work with - well organized and responsive to all of our inquiries. She was also sensitive to the fact that we had developed relationships with all of our vendors throughout the year of planning and complemented what we already had in place – she did not come in and “take over” but developed a productive partnership with us. We worked very well together during the month leading up to the wedding. She developed a detailed timeline for all vendors including transportation for 90 out of state guests who needed to get from the hotel to the church, back to the hotel and to/from the reception. She gave us access to her planning tool so we could update it with details we felt were important. When the day arrived, everything went off like clockwork and we had a terrific time at our daughter’s wedding. Jan and her team handled all the details perfectly. We are so happy we found her to help us with this important event.

Jan was amazing! We hired her for day of/month of coordinating, which was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding! She is highly organized, provided countless vendor recommendations, and always replied to emails promptly. She coordinated all of our vendors seamlessly (a major task since we used a raw space) and created a timeline for all vendors and for me. She was very accommodating to all of my family members' special needs and requests on the big day. 5++ Stars to Jan and Something Social! Jan is so sweet and talented; she made our wedding planning so stress-free and fun. We planned our Montville, NJ wedding long-distance from CA. We went back to NJ 3 times before the wedding and Jan / Something Social did everything else that needed to be done in person-and did it so well! She was the most responsive and organized vendor we used BY FAR. Definitely went the extra mile and went out of her way to make our wedding perfect. Would recommend her in a heartbeat!
