Spring Brook Farm’s earliest records show that Native Americans considered the property’s artesian springs and rolling hills sacred. The land was purchased by H.B. Sherman in the 1880s, who had initially planned to build a resort but instead built the Mansion — a substantial home for today’s owners and B&B for guests, as well as the farm with prize holsteins. Fredrick W. Rogers and his wife, Lucy, bought the estate in 1916 and added a horse arena and gave their daughter, Anne, a personal trainer and prized horse, Queen of Springbrook. Rogers was president of the Monarch Range Company. Eventually, the estate became uninhabited after Anne’s husband’s death. In the late 1980's, Dennis Giese restored the Mansion and estate. Bill and Joan Schmidt became owners of the property in 2017, achieving their vision of changing the 1920s barn that once housed holsteins into a beautiful wedding and event venue.

They truly did an amazing job restoring the barn to what it is today. Bill, Joan and Brenda were incredibly helpful and great to work with during the entire process. We also cannot say enough about the wonderful staff showing knowledge, urgency and hospitality throughout the night. Everyone played a key part in making our wedding perfect. Spring Brook is truly one of a kind and would make anyone’s special day memorable. We highly recommend Spring Brook to everyone for any event.

Read more handicapped guests that they transported to and from the parking lot to the handicapped entrance. I was impressed.
