Steve Keegan is a documentary wedding photographer serving primarily the Reno, Tahoe, Northern California and Sierra Nevada Mountains. With an unobtrusive shooting style rooted in his photojournalism background, Steve captures authentic moments between couples in an honest and unscripted way. He makes his subjects feel and look comfortable in the front of the camera. Steve produces a collection of totally unique and visually-interesting images that reflect a couple's personality and style.

Experience
Steve has worked as a photojournalist since 1994. He has been a staff photographer for the Los Angeles Times, Napa Valley Register, Reno Gazette-Journal, Chico Enterprise-Record and Kenai Peninsula Clarion (Alaska). His work has appeared in publications around the world, while working as a freelancer for Reuters News Service. Since 2003, he has shot more than 400 weddings and has traveled all over the country photographing weddings and special events. An alumnus of the San Jose State University photojournalism program, he has more than 28 years of professional photography experience, and has received numerous awards in both the collegiate and professional ranks.
