About
I’ve been filming and editing wedding since 2011 and have developed a strong sense for what works best. My top priority is your day still feeling like a wedding and not a video shoot. My next priority: cinematic shots of not only key moments, but the moments in between that make you and your people you. With me, you have the unique combination of the following:
- A sensitive film director, not just a technician. I’m the only Midwestern wedding videographer I’m aware of who has also written & directed two movies
- Work with one person, not a company contracting out random videographers
- Projects capped at 12 wedding videos per year to preserve creativity and attention
- Discreet equipment, without sacrificing quality
Many wedding videos are overly-epic or emotionally simplistic. It’s a happy, yet dramatic and raw occasion. Having all your people together on one day is a precious life experience that covers a range of emotions. I do my best to capture the spectrum: the party, the tears, the hugs and the funny. I strive for a cinematic look with documentarian heart.
