My husband and I are forever grateful for the photography skills of Susie and her husband, Darren. They beautifully captured our wedding day on 11/12/22. Now over a year later since our wedding day, I still find myself looking through our online gallery and smiling all over again. Susie has a gift for capturing timeless images with beautiful lighting. She captured everything from the smallest detail to the moments I will treasure all of my days. The color palate I so carefully planned was captured beautifully and her prints have made treasured gifts as well as art in our home. Susie and Darren photographed our wedding, and they absolutely contributed to making our wedding day the BEST it could possibly be. Susie truly cares about her clients and capturing beautiful and genuine moments, and they are both incredibly kind, friendly, and professional. She not only helped me organize a timeline (which I based my whole wedding day schedule on and used as a guide for ALL my other vendors), she and Darren were extremely helpful, creative, and reassuring when things, inevitably, went off schedule. My hair and makeup lasted too long since we had a large wedding party, but Susie and Darren managed to STILL get absolutely everything I wanted (things like details and the spaces before guests arrived), along with our first look, my first look with my dad, getting ready, AND the wedding party pictures… all BEFORE our ceremony with time to spare. She even re-shot our details pictures to include our invitations after I realized we forgot them and a family member hurried home to get a copy. My husband and I were never rushed, but they somehow kept my 16-person bridal party and additional family organized, calm, and happy! I loved working with both of them, and they captured so many of our magical moments beautifully. I can’t wait to book them again for additional mini sessions of our family! P.S. When we got engaged, there was no questioning that Susie Marie Photography would be doing our photos! We just had our engagement session and there aren't words to express how beautiful they are! She was willing to work with us in New Albany, then drive all the way to OSUs campus to capture exactly what we envisioned for our sunset fall photoshoot. My fiance was a little nervous about how he would feel taking pictures and Susie and Darren totally put him (and I!) at ease through the process. We had our photos back on Tuesday (after taking them Friday evening!) and are so excited for her to capture our wedding.
