Nestled in the heart of the Genesee River Valley in Swain, New York, Swain Resort is a rustic wedding venue ideal for the outdoorsy couple. Facilities and Capacity
Swain Resort is a large venue that can host up to 500 guests, but can also provide an intimate feel in our small lodge settings. The resort makes for beautiful summer weddings, where couples and their guests can enjoy lush green scenery and spectacular mountain views. Ceremony locations include the lodge and outdoor uncovered locations at the foot and top of the mountain. Couples can choose from three dining rooms for their reception. Each of these spacious rooms reflects the idyllic nature of the mountain lodge, with stone fireplaces, wooden beams, and plenty of natural light.

Services Offered
The resort is available for you to rent for rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, and engagement parties, making it easy to incorporate every aspect of your wedding into one place. Wedding packages are fully customizable, and event planners will walk you through the process to help you achieve your vision for the big day. These packages include event planning, tables and chairs, an arch, catering, and cleanup. Accommodation options range from bunk beds to condos and luxurious suites. Parking is available on site, and the lodge is wheelchair accessible.

Cuisine
The venue offers its own catering service, which features expansive dinner and hors d’oeuvres menus. Buffet options begin with salads followed by dishes like chicken cordon bleu and brown sugar crusted salmon. Some of their plated meals include steak and roasted shallots. All flatware and glassware are included, and servers and bar staff are on-hand to ensure that everything runs smoothly. A variety of bar service options are available, featuring house liquor, wine, and beer.

Swain Resort is close to many outdoor recreational areas. The resort is right along the Finger Lakes Trail and just 15 miles from Letchworth State Park and Stony Brook State Park. Nearby breweries, wineries, and golf courses make for easy day trips for guests to explore.
