Now it's time to select music for your wedding and I thought I would share some personal tidbits about myself.
Favorite Violin Song Growing Up
I started playing violin at the age of 9 after listening to Pachelbel's Canon in D and thought if I could master this song I would be one of the world's greatest violin players! Little did I know that that would be one of the songs I would learn within the first few years and that I still had a long way to go.
Craziest Wedding Story
In September of 2021 I performed for my college friend's wedding all the out at the Brighton Ski Resort in Utah. Being a fellow violinist (and rather picky I might add) she hand selected all of her pre-service and wedding ceremony music and asked if we could put on a show. I looked at her list and it had "Kashmir" from Led Zepplin, Lord of the Dance (a famous crazy hard Irish tune), "Enter Sandman" from Metallica, among others. Turns out all of her guests were hardcore classic rock / Celtic music fans and we put on a full length show during the pre-service!
Hobbies Outside the Violin
I rescued two dogs in 2017 from the Greenville Humane Society and they are my world! I have a boxer mix and if you can envision this - a Lab / Corgi mix (think Lab with short Corgi legs).
