We reserved the 180 Room for our rehearsal dinner. The first thing that we liked was that it is a private dining facility affiliated with Joe’s Kansas City BBQ, so it is a given that the food will be the very best. However, once we saw the space, there were many other things that impressed us: the bar, decorations, bathrooms; everything is very nice and well kept. Also, it is very very reasonably priced, definitely the best deal in town. Since the first meeting with Erin Nelson you could tell how well prepared they are to host any event. They are very flexible and knowledgeable on hosting dinners/events. It truly requires minimum planning on your side because they take care of absolutely everything. We did contact Erin plenty of times with really small questions, and she was always extremely nice and quick to answer. On the day of the event, everything looked amazing. We had 45 guests and reserved the entire space so we had areas for cocktails, dinner and socializing. It was very comfortable and well distributed. The appetizers were delicious and there were plenty of servers to take care of all of our guests with drinks. Since we had a few toasts and speeches, Erin took it on herself to act as the coordinator and made sure to keep us on track, which was above and beyond our expectations. Erin definitely goes the extra mile, she is the best coordinator we dealt with throughout the wedding weekend – she didn’t drop the ball on anything. She was talking to some of the guests that approached her and was extremely polite. We heard so many positive comments about her and the service from our guests. Once the event was almost over, they packed all the leftovers and had them ready to go by the exit. I highly recommend this place.

The 180 Room is the private dining facility for Joe's Kansas City BBQ (formerly Oklahoma Joe's). We reserved the venue purely for the amazing food but I am happy to report the service was outstanding! Erin responds to emails and phone calls faster than any place I have experienced and was very accommodating when we needed a serving of vegetables for a diabetic guest. All the little details I asked for were taken care of and all our guests raved about he food. If you are having a dinner reception, I highly recommend The !80 Room.
