Facilities and Capacity
The Barn can comfortably seat 260 guests inside our air condiditioned and heated barn. We are open year round so you can have your dream wedding any time of the year. When you walk into the Barn many love the amazing 42-foot high cathedral ceiling, it is stunning. The loft mezzanine area, which overlooks the main level, is beautiful with its wood flooring and chandeleirs. Our patio is surrounded by windows, a full floor to ceiling glass wall and a beautiful French door. This space is also air conditioned and heated.

Our venue offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony areas that the couple can choose from, based on their vision. The bride and groom suites are amazing spaces that are located inside the Barn. They are beautiful suites for the bride, bridesmaides, groom and groomsmean and family to get ready, relax and have fun before the wedding ceremony begins. Each have a convenient hallway leading into the main part of the Barn and restrooms.

History
The Barn first spent many years on a farm before it was moved to Lake Chapeau Drive in 1966. It was used as a student center for people that attended Lea College. In 1978, the Barn changed hands and was opened by the Sons of Norway Lodge to support lodge functions and private parties.The current owners, Chad and Jayne Iverson, had some help with the renovation of the Barn, but did much of it themselves. This has been a dream of theirs and you can tell that a lot of thought and love was put into their Barn. They opened for their first wedding in June of 2019.

Location
This amazing venue is centrally located in southern Minnesota, being only 30 miles from Austin, 58 miles from Rochester and Mankato, 77 miles from Lakeville, and 45 miles from Mason City. It is a very convenient destination for all of your guests and is also located only minutes from various hotel options as well as amazing on-site housing.
