Facilities and Capacity

The Grand Ballroom provides a great place to have your wedding ceremony and reception and can accommodate up to 150 of your guests. This beautiful ballroom has a 20-foot ceiling, four antique chandeliers from the 1920s, and original hardwood floors for you and your guests to dance all night long. The Grand Ballroom is a great space to host your stunning wedding ceremony, reception, and more. The capacity of the room depends on if the space will be used for seating or standing. The ballroom is spacious enough to hold a removable dance floor, stage, and piano. The Outdoor Garden is great for smaller, more intimate wedding events.

History

Originally built in 1928, The Barristers Club was once The Women’s Club of Allentown. In 1991, The Bar Association of Lehigh County purchased, renovated, and restored the building to its original grandeur. In 2008, the building went through $250,000 worth of renovation with new carpets, hardwood floors, better audio, visuals, upgraded kitchen appliances, fresh paint, new bar, resurfaced parking lot, and an intimate garden. Today, The Bar Association of Lehigh County holds their offices in this building and rents out their space to the general public for special events.
