Professional and affordable DJ company based out of Barboursville, WV. The Cats Meow Entertainment provides professional wedding DJ services for engaged couples. Kayla Medlen, the founder of the company, is truly dedicated to each of her clients and strives to bring their vision to life seamlessly.
All our packages include ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We do everything from MC, wireless mics and guide your entire event. We even have a completely wireless system for ceremonies. We have a business license and travel as a Mobile DJ all over the states. We DJ’d 84 weddings in 2022. We were also voted Best DJ Company by WV Wedding Magazine in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
We can make your event as simple or as elaborate as you want. We specialize in really getting to know our couples so we can provide "catered to you" entertainment for your special day. We also offer a free personalized QR code for song requests that allow your guests to send songs through their phones.
The Cats Meow has offers entertainment from all shapes as sizes. To LIVE intimate music during the first dance to Master of Ceremonies, get up on your feet light spectacular, The Cats Meow has done it all.

Hey there! I am Kayla! Being a musician who performs regularly, I pride myself in knowing how to entertain an audience. I started The Cats Meow Entertainment after working for a local big named DJ service. I had a hard time working for someone that I knew overpriced their customers to provide mediocre work. About a year working with them, I finally decided to start my own business. I vowed to always put the customer first. I value getting to know my newly engaged couples so I can provide a top notch wedding experience at the fraction of the cost.
