TWO VENUES ONE TEAM

We offer two full service wedding venues located in the heart of downtown modesto, california. With decades of experience in venue, food, and beverage services combined, we are ready to guide you down your planning journey from day one all the way to “I DO!” with our full service team to help you every step of the way!

THE CENTURY

The Century is a chic, urban venue located in Modesto, California. Built in the early 1900s, this historic building has exposed brick walls, tall ceilings, beautiful crystal chandeliers and gorgeous acacia wood floors. In addition to the grand ballroom there’s also an amazing patio with a spectacular brick wall and vintage mirrors and exclusive VIP suites on the premises. Couples looking for a modern venue with a touch of vintage glamour need to look no further than The Century.

Capacity:
up to 250 guests for reception only, and up to 175 for a ceremony and a reception.

NINE3ONE

Nine3One is a coworking facility located next door to The Century that opened 2019. Nine3One features 3 unique event spaces on the lower level of the building.

  1. The Alcove is the main event space that leads out into The Botanical Breezeway.
  2. The Botanical Breezeway is a completely covered outdoor space that runs the length of the entire building.
  3. The Bouquet Bar is another smaller event space at the front end of The Botanical Breezeway that is perfect for smaller parties and also makes a great space for cocktail hour.

Capacity:
Up to 70 guests when using all three spaces. Capacity for The Bouquet Bar only is up to 30 guests.

It was quite the pleasure working with Tatiana and The Century staff. From our initial meeting at the Ceremony rehearsal Tatiana was wonderful.

Wonderful Wedding Experience

I cannot emphasize enough that if you're even slightly considering booking an event here, take this as your definitive sign to go for it. We had the incredible fortune of celebrating our wedding here in October, and the entire experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Our wedding planner, Erica Ford, was an absolute gem. Working with her felt more like planning with a close friend who had our best interests at heart rather than a mere acquaintance. Her meticulous attention to detail and wealth of knowledge made the entire wedding planning process effortless. On the day of our wedding, Erica was a beacon of organization, ensuring everything flowed seamlessly. When they promise to have everything covered so you can simply arrive and enjoy, they truly mean it. From the moment we stepped into the venue until the final minutes of our celebration, our wedding day was an absolute delight. I can't sing enough praises for Erica and her exceptional dedication!

Now, let me turn your attention to the culinary genius, Chef Root. Our tasting session was an absolute highlight (highly recommended!), and from that moment, we were captivated by our wedding menu. Our guests are still raving about the food! I was adamant about steering clear of typical banquet fare, and Chef Root masterfully crafted a personalized culinary experience for us. He made our event feel uniquely special, even bringing to life a dessert my husband had long dreamed of having at our wedding. His commitment and talent were truly an honor to experience.

I must also highlight the incredible work of Leticia, the talented florist who curated the most stunning flowers for our special day. She's an absolute artist. Not only did she bring my vision to life, but she also transformed a collection of brooches I'd been gathering for years into a breathtaking bouquet. Her attention to detail, including the thoughtful incorporation of my late father, was incredibly touching. Leticia's dedication to making our day unforgettable was remarkable.

Every individual we had the pleasure of working with at The Century and Nine3One was exceptional. I genuinely can't speak highly enough of our experience. I loved it so much that if I could, I'd relive it all over again. Without a doubt, any future events in my life will be hosted here. I've been enthusiastically recommending The Century and Nine3One to everyone I know. Trust me, booking your event here will be a decision you won't regret.

Amazing experience!

Review for Tatiana

We have been trying to write this honest review for weeks but life keeps happening.

Our wedding at The Century was the best day of our lives it was all thanks to our amazing coordinator and our entire life line for this wedding, Tatiana, who made our experience unforgettable and so seamlessly easy. From decorations, to signage, and all the little details in between, we put our trust in her and she went above and beyond to make our vision come true. After our wedding, we received endless compliments about how much fun and how beautiful the whole event turned out. Not to mentioned she was SO awesome to hang out with throughout the whole process. No matter what request we had, she did it with a smile on her face and made every meeting we had together so fun. So from the bottom of our hearts Tati, Thank You So Incredibly Much! We love you and are so grateful for everything you did to make our day so special!

With that being said, we highly recommend having your wedding/event at The Century. We were beyond satisfied with our experience and we really enjoyed working with the entire staff involved. Thank you guys!!!

Crystal started her journey in the hospitality world at a young age. While she was furthering her education, she found her passion for event planning. Crystal married her best friend in 2019 and to your surprise she planned her own wedding! After planning her wedding she explored the wedding world she became obsessed, passionate, and that was her aha moment to become a wedding pro! Here at the Century she has assisted couples in bringing their dreams to reality! Not only does she plan weddings, she has also had the honor of planning birthdays, anniversaries, and local community events! With all the knowledge she has gained from event directing she is now The Century's Sales Manager. Allison has been apart of our team since 2017 and has experience in every aspect of our company. While exploring her career options, she found her niche in event planning. She took the teams expertise and became the protégé of the company. From the start of joining the team she showed her true potential and quickly climbed up the management ladder. In addition to being one of our event directors, Allison also is an assistant manager for our co-working office, Nine3One.

While her profession is a priority, family is the most important aspect of her life. Along side of her brother, they founded a social group called The Fun Junkies (TFJ). Their mission is to cultivate a bond within the community and abroad by bringing strangers together to establish experiences and create memories. She is the backbone of TFJ and carries many responsibilities including coordinating and scheduling events, marketing, social media platforms and sales.

Allison is charismatic, creative, reliable and has a great attention to detail. Should you have an event, she will be the one to execute and turn your dreams into reality. The planning process even through Covid was straight forward and Allison made it a breeze. So easy that I often thought am I doing everything I need to be?? Lol.
