Facilities and Capacity
The Upstairs at the Cheshire Hotel manages to be both cozy and regal for intimate and romantic receptions. The room, accommodating up to 200 guests and therefore perfect for a variety of wedding sizes, features vintage stained glass windows, warm overhead lighting fixtures, and dark wood walls. The room has a peaked ceiling with dark wood beams as well as a polished dance floor, so you and your guests can dance the night away. When strung with Edison lighting, this room is at its most romantic, creating an atmosphere that is the ideal backdrop for a celebration of love with family and friends. Being located on the upper floor of a historic hotel, this venue blends all of its vintage charm with new-age décor and contemporary charm, giving it the feel of a quintessential, historic St. Louis wedding celebration without compensating for the style of a modern wedding.

Hassle free wedding planning

This was the easiest yet the biggest part of our day! Sarah made everything soooo easy. If you like to fuss over details she will talk you down lol. This venue made for a no hassle, all inclusive style wedding. I only had to answer a few questions the last month before our wedding and voile! it was perfect. She worked seamlessly with our other vendors. She answered questions in a timely manner and was a "yes" woman for everything I wanted to make sure was at our wedding. Simply a wonderful day made easy and carefree. My husband and I got to enjoy so much more of the day because we knew the Cheshire had it covered :)

It was such a beautiful experience working with the Cheshire. We used the Upstairs for our reception: Mary beth provided us with a straight forward approach. Accommodated to our very last minute changes in block of rooms. Our guests love the hotel, especially the English themed, which also provided beautiful setting for our photos.

The food was magnificent! It was a shame that the restuante was closed right before our wedding and during our stay for our honeymoon, My husband and i were looking forward to having a meal or two there.

Andrew at the front desk of the Inn was so ever accommodating with every request we had. We have decidedly made The Cheshire, the place to stay when we are in St Louis again.
