The Cottage Wedding Venue specializes in charming & intimate weddings and events in Gilbert, Arizona. We range form 20-150 guests $3000-$15,000. Our in-house cater will Wow you with a variety of cuisines. We also allow you to customize any packaage with your own vendors.

The Cottage Wedding Venue’s can accommodate Micro Weddings, as well as Lavish Weddings up to 150 guests. Just six blocks from historic downtown Gilbert, its simple style lets you transform it however you like. A covered patio provides the perfect place to host a cocktail hour, while the cozy indoor space lets your guests enjoy the day with you in your very own selected décor.

Enjoy family-style, plated or buffet menu options in Italian or American cuisine style and choose from some of your favorite classic or modern dishes. Select from Zappone’s signature event menus or create your own based on your unique taste and favorite Italian dishes. The Cottage Wedding Venue also offers in-house bar services for your enjoyment and convenience.

Amazing venue!
fast forward to my wedding weekend. we expected rain and had to have backup plans. communication with dina and my coordinator was open and any time there was a problem that arrived a solution was provided. the cottage was quick to their feet and worked with all the vendors that day to ensure everything flowed. despite the rain, mud and craziness of the day - not a single guest noticed we were officially on plan D. it went that smooth🙂 the day flew by and i loved every minute. oh and the food was so delicious from the apps to the dinner to the cake!!

Dina was born in Chicago to immigrant parents from Sicily. As a youngster she moved to Shiny Las Vegas! Her parents had the hopes of opening Pizzeria’s and not shoveling snow. Villa Roma quickly became a family business, and she began to work there at the ripe age of 7. Later she went on to graduate with a Bachelors degree in Psychology at UNLV, but always remained in the restaurant business. While serving at The Mirage hotel, she was offered a Beverage Manager position she quickly accepted, and oversaw 16 bars and 90 bartenders. Dina decided to leave the fast life and move to Rainy Portland, Oregon, where she managed for a Restaurant group for 4 years. Something always pulled her back to her hometown. In 2004, she accepted the General Manager position of the Italian Restaurant at the The Mirage, packed her bags and quickly went back to work. Low and behold a handsome Italian Chef shyly cooking in the French restaurant. Sal and Dina were introduced and a true love of life, cooking, and each other blossomed. They have owned and operated 2 restaurants and a catering company, while raising their beloved children Bella and Enzo. It was Dina’s nagging dream to open a wedding venue that started the Vision Board. When Cozy Weddings of Gilbert went up for sale, for the second time, they were ready. The Cottage will host lavish parties under the stars, and quaint chapel ceremony indoors. Together Sal and Dina l continue to pursue their passion together.
