History
The Hill House was originally constructed in 1885 by J.C. Hill as a home residence. This building was featured in the book ‘Texas Homes of the 19th Century’ by Drury Blakeley Alexander (University of Texas Press, 1966) as one of only a few Texas homes left from the 1800s.
