Wonderful staff and experience

We used the Inn for our hotel block for our wedding, in addition to using their event space for an event the evening before the wedding, a yoga class the morning of our wedding, and a brunch the day after. Our experience was very positive all the way around. We worked with Michele for the event side and Naomi for the hotel side. Both ladies were super helpful and very professional. Both myself and my family members involved in the planning had nothing but good things to say about the process of working with them. They were very responsive in taking care of any concerns that came up during the process or during the events. They were both flexible and had great suggestions for us to make our events and stay a positive experience for all. Naomi always made time for me when I needed to discuss anything. She even made time to give us a tour when we showed up unannounced to see if the hotel was a good fit for our wedding room block. The food and drinks we got as part of the event catering were all very good and loved by our guests.
On the non-event side, the hotel has always been pretty quiet when I've stayed (which includes several times for wedding planning in addition to the wedding week). The rooms don't have the best sound insulation, so if you have a neighbor in the next room that is on the louder side (intentional or not), you may hear them at least somewhat. I haven't had issues with that during my stays though. Since I am sensitive to sound, I always bring earplugs for sleep when I travel, and I've never been woken up by sounds outside of my room in the night here.
We found the hotel super convenient in location while still feeling secluded and removed from the city/downtown. There is usually plenty of parking here as well. The hotel felt very safe and peaceful regardless of the time of day or night. All the staff has been friendly and helpful, and the rooms have always been clean. I feel the value has been good for the stays we've had compared to other hotels in the SC area.
We frequently get food and drinks at the Back Nine restaurant while here since it is so convenient and the food and drink quality is excellent.
I would recommend the Inn both for events and for general stays when in the area.
