Facilities and Capacity

This 10,000 square foot space offers the perfect combination of country and elegance. For your ceremony, you can use The Pavilion’s rear garden, which provides a picturesque setting by saying “I do” beneath the elegant pergola. You have the opportunity to get ready in their Bride’s Retreat, which is a private, 700 square foot loft that can accommodate you and your attendants. For the groom and his party, we offer a Groom’s Den. Guests can enter through large, wooden double doors to the climate controlled reception area called The Pavilion. They are greeted with the glow of four shining chandeliers. At the far end, there is a 34 foot wood-burning fireplace made of Tennessee field stone. It is topped with a wooden mantel--a beam from the 1800’s that has been reclaimed from the original home that once stood on the property. The barn stretches to a 34 foot gambrel roof. This space is 60 by 75 feet and can accommodate 50 to 275 guests, along with room for dancing. Behind The Pavilion, guests can mingle during cocktail hour on the patio, complete with a gas fire pit and wall for seating. This space is situated to one side of the 25 acre property and overlooks rolling pastures and a grove of North Carolina’s tall pine trees. It provides a serene country backdrop on your wedding day.

Best Wedding Venue in Raleigh!

We had an amazing wedding at the Pavilion! The whole experience leading up to and during the event was excellent. When we toured the Pavilion in the Fall we fell in love with the barn, pergola, and beautiful surroundings that would become the backdrop for amazing wedding day pictures. The Pavilion has a remote feel but was just a short drive from Raleigh, Cary, and Apex for our guests who parked in the ample parking spaces on-site. Our wedding comfortably had 125 guests and the Pavilion is capable of handling a much higher guest count. Their indoor option has an incredible fireplace if your ceremony needs to be inside, but we lucked out with the Spring weather to have it outside underneath the pergola in the yard. As is, the venue matched our style so we didn’t need to add many decorations inside or outside. We also loved having the outdoor space for cocktail hour and set up yard games in the grass for guests to play. Although the venue doesn’t come with a covered outdoor area, you could always get a tent. As anticipated, pictures were stunning using the surrounding landscape and the sunset over the woods backdrop was perfect for a few more before dancing the night away with our party in the barn. Working with the Pavilion was a great experience as they were accommodating and flexible with our requests. We used their in-house 30 day wedding coordinator service which was so helpful to have. Jordan, Brianna, and Alyson met with us and were very responsive via the portal in the days leading up to the event. Having them organize and direct traffic for the rehearsal walk through and ceremony was great. Overall they worked really hard and cut down on potential stressors for us! The Pavilion has plenty of approved vendors and suggestions of vendors to choose from. Incredible value and if we had to do it all over again we would 100% book with them, one of the best choices anyone getting married in the Raleigh area can make!

Best Venue in Raleigh!

The Pavilion at Carriage Farm is JUST the venue I envisioned for my wedding. My (now) husband and I toured a handful of venues, but I immediately knew when I toured the Pavilion that it was “the one”. I love that the venue isn’t visible from the road which gave me, my husband, and our guests the privacy and space to really enjoy ourselves on our wedding day. And the venue itself just had so many lovely features and selling points- the spaciousness of the venue and getting ready suites, the allowance of pets, the chandeliers in the reception room, the arbor near the back patio to accommodate outdoor weddings, the string lights over the back patio, the amazing stone fireplace inside, etc. But I think what sold me the most were the huge windows that cover 3 of the 4 walls in the reception space. It gave it such a natural feel to the room and the panoramic views are just beautiful. I had several wedding guests tell me that the venue felt like a beautiful hideaway venue in the mountains of NC. My partner and I were sold on all of these things, and we loved that the venue had the potential to accommodate an indoor or outdoor wedding depending on the weather (we’re not that lucky when it comes to weather, so we weren’t going to take any chances!).

In terms of planning the wedding, the Pavilion provided us with a list of recommended vendors which really helped us narrow down the exhaustive list of options and made wedding planning so much easier. They also connected us to our wedding coordinator Alyson! She was fantastic, and it really helped us to know that she works at the venue and knows all of the ins and outs in order to give us the best wedding possible- which she did!

We would recommend the Pavilion to anyone, although I don’t think I need to sell the idea to our wedding guests- the Pavilion spoke for itself on our big day.

Perfect Fusion Wedding

We were so lucky we found the Pavilion at Carriage Farm. We were looking for a location in Raleigh that would be roomy for up to 200 people, able to support a Baraat (Indian wedding groom’s entrance), and would give the slightly rustic but elegant vibe we were going for. We had toured a few other places, but once we went to the Pavilion and met with Marti, we were sold. Pricing was much better than the other locations we had found and she even introduced us to our amazing wedding planner. There were no restrictions on getting the Indian caterers we needed and the premium bar service with signature drinks provided by Marti and her team were perfect.

The venue itself is beautifully enclosed by trees so it feels private but spacious. They have a fantastic bridal suite and also have plenty of bathrooms for guests. The main space in the hall is filled with windows that allowed the light in so perfectly during our first dance. There are also large chandeliers and a stone fireplace that make the space feel grand.

We can’t recommend this location highly enough! Thanks, Marti.
